Three ways to wear a skirt during the colder months

Drawstring skirt
Once the weather gets colder, people get into a funk wearing the same old coat and slacks to work every day. It’s important to remember that there are alternatives to wearing the same outfits over and over during the colder months. Skirts are not just for summer. If worn in the right way, skirts are a great garment for the winter too. Here are three ways to wear skirts.

1. A drawstring skirt is extremely comfortable because you can adjust the tightness of it. Sometime skirts can be too tight on your belly and waist, but drawstring skirts are perfect for looking feminine yet feeling comfortable in the office. Don’t worry about being cold. Simply wear a stylish pair of tights and some colorful pumps to add color.
2. For a casual look on the weekend, wear your comfortable drawstring skirt with leggings and boots. Tuck in a casual blouse and drape a trendy scarf around your neck. This is a stylish look that is appropriate for the weather.
3. For a great day-to-night outfit try a petite faux suede skirt. When you dress for work wear your petite faux suede skirt with a tank top tucked in and a blazer. Wear tights and pumps with this during the day. Then when you meet your friend at the bar after work, add a few pieces of jewelry. Keep a pair of strappy sandals in your car. Change into these, get rid of the tights and you will be transformed from day-to-night!
