The holiday season is here and many of us are anxious as well as excited about what to wear for the various parties. Unlike most regular days when I stand in front of my wardrobe and find nothing to wear for the day, the holiday season gives me ample time to prepare by browsing through the websites to buy new outfits. There is one particular brand of clothes I have my eyes on this season.

Especially when you’ve reached a certain age. There’s nothing like an early morning run to perk up your metabolism and give the body a much needed boost. I love going for outdoor runs because I enjoy the fresh air and seeing all that greenery around.
The autumn and spring months are best for morning jogs because the weather is rather pleasant. But during summers, I do tend to perspire a lot. So, I prefer wearing jogging suits or track pants that are light weight and sweat absorbent.

It’s summer and you’ve been shopping, socializing and more but now you’re ready for something a little different — going away for the weekend with someone special or with friends. As a kid, I would love to spend the weekends at my grandpa’s farm. So, I have always had this fetish with attending county fairs or state fairs. Even though I live in downtown New York, I try and attend at least a couple of upstate county fairs. I love everything about them starting from livestock show to pie eating competitions!

Boleros, tight fitted but embellished dress shirts, embellished and blinged out cardigans with belts, shift dresses with sleeves, pencil skirts with intricate patterns. The key is colors and strategic use of accessories to emphasize what you want to highlight and hide what you don’t. You want a streamlined, graceful, long line which slims, and also looks most professional–clean lines like those of an attorney’s office. But you also want to show a bit more flare and personality, because it’s on TV. The use of cardigans or shift dresses with sleeves will hide your arms as you said you wanted to. If you have a nipped in waist with a belted, fitted dress, or a cardigan on top, you will also create a feminine figure and hide any areas in the middle you don’t feel so confident about. Top it off with a knock-out necklace or scarf for extra flare for TV.
Mrs. O always has a killer accessories, and she loves COLOR, COLOR, COLOR. Too much color might not be appropriate for TV, since you are representing yourself as a corporate attorney, but you can take some style cues and infuse a little bit of color into your outfit. She goes for jewel tones, and bright, saturated hues and floral prints. If that’s too much, try doing 1 thing, like a scarf, or a bright brooch.
See how she emphasizes the smallest part of her body? Cinch the waist. It’s the best thing most women can do. Try to find a fancy leather belt no thicker than 2″. For a more polished, professional look, you’re safer with a 1.5″ or 1″ belt. If you’re wearing plain black, get a zebra or leopard print 1″ skinny belt. Then accessorize with a slightly edgy, multi-chain necklace. The ferocity of the leopard would look weird with pearls.

• Bad education. Mom forced you to work, you wanted to play. Tantrums and vile rebellions should have driven you apart, but mom stuck by you and was there to support each fail and celebrate every achievement.
